I CAN SEE A RAINBOW

With the mixed weather that we have in spring, we often have days of rain, days of sunshine, and even days where it is rainy and sunny at the same time. On these special days, we are sometimes lucky
enough to see a rainbow, so we decided to sing you a song about rainbows. We also wanted to show you how well we know the lifecycle of the butterfly.

Do you know as much about spring as we do?

THE ARRIVAL OF SPRING

With the arrival of spring has come the arrival of a new unit where we learn all about different insects that we can see during the season, and the plants that grow and how to take care of them. Year 2 wanted to show you how they perform a Spring poem
Take a look!

WELCOMING SPRING INTO THE INFANT SCHOOL

In the Infant school we have been so excited about welcoming spring into the building, so we decided to create a huge spring mural. Each class contributed a different flower, insect or another typical thing that we can see in spring. It´s a work in progress, but have a peek at how it´s going.

HOW DO WE PLAY IN SPRING?

As you know, we have been working on our public speaking in English via the project "Magic Talk". The children in Year 1 (3 years old) have been talking about different things we can see in our wonderful playground during spring.

We think you´ll agree that it´s amazing how well they can already speak in English!

THE THIRD DAY OF THE CULTURAL FAIR

Today was the last day of the cultural fair, and we finished with a bang. Once again, the older girls continued with the wonderful activities that they had organised: The storytelling of "Room on the broom" and the workshops to make kangaroo ears.

We also went to see the minishows that were performed by the girls from the primary school. We really enjoyed them and we want to congratulate the girls!
WELL DONE!
