CHOO CHOO CHOCOLATE TRAIN

In unit 6 the children in year 1 have been learning about different types of transport. As we come to the end of the second semester we thought it would be fun to make a train out of a selection of yummy ingredients.

THE WEATHER IN UNITED KINGDOM

In year three we are working on the professions and United Kingdom. Today we pretended that we were weather men.

IT IS ENGLISH WEEK AGAIN!

As you may know from previous experience, every year at Entreolivos we celebrate an English week in which we focus a whole week to special events in English and about the culture of an English-speaking country or countries. We cannot give too much away yet, but we can tell you that it will take place from the 29th to the 31st of March, and that we will be inviting parents to come into our classrooms to see how well we communicate in English.

LOOKING AT LONDON IN THE ENGLISH CORNERS

As part of this month´s unit, the children in Year 3 have been talking about London. Teacher Severine, whose family live very near to London, wanted to find out how much the children knew about one of her favourite cities, so she asked the students in the English Corner to tell her about some famous monuments.

In year two we are working with different types of communication, thinking also about whether they are oral or written. We have been using different recycled materials to make some of these things ourselves.

LISTEN AND LOOK HOW WE CAN TELL STORIES IN ENGLISH

With every new unit that we study in English we always have a new story. The last unit was about animals and we learnt a really fun story about a hippo who wants to play with different animals in the jungle. 

We managed to learn the whole story by heart!
